Student ASTC Bus Pass Eligibility
For student bus pass, you must have a valid student identity card (ID). Every recognised institution issues an identity proof to their students or some sort of admission proof. It can be admission number, registration number or identity card.
If you are studying for competitive exams from a well known institution, you can still apply for student bus passes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Identity card from recognized educational institution
- Age should be less than 25 years
- Valid for certain distance from home to institution
- Must be a valid student of a recognised school or college
Senior Citizen Bus Pass
Just like other bus passes, senior citizen bus pass also have some certain eligibility criteria. The most important factor for the senior citizens bus pass is your age should be greater than 60 years for male and 55 years for female.

- Male citizens aged 60 years and above
- Female citizens aged 55 years and above
- Must be a resident of Assam
- 40% fare concession provided
ASTC Physically Handicapped / Divyangjan Bus Pass
The ASTC provides special concessions for persons with disabilities to promote accessible transportation across the state.
